Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioner (Lead) to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of early years practitioners, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare and early childhood education in a nurturing and safe environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while demonstrating strong leadership skills. Applicants should possess relevant experience in nursery settings and a passion for working with young children.

Duties

Lead and supervise a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and support to ensure effective team performance
Plan, organise, and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years
Ensure compliance with all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations, maintaining a secure environment for children and staff
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and professional conduct
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development in accordance with regulatory requirements
Support the induction, training, and ongoing professional development of team members
Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that promotes equality, diversity, and respect for all children
Assist with administrative duties related to the smooth running of the nursery or childcare setting

Experience

Proven leadership experience within early years or childcare settings
Extensive experience working directly with children in nurseries or similar environments
Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience in developing experience plans that support children's learning and development milestones

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,664.00 per year
