Full job description

Full-time | Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week | Reporting to Finance Director

We are looking for an experienced and detail-focused Accounts & Finance Supervisor to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our finance function.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day finance administration using Xero
Maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers
Processing customer invoices, supplier bills, payments and banking transactions
Completing bank, credit card and control account reconciliations
Supporting credit control, including monitoring outstanding and overdue customer balances
Supporting month-end and quarter-end processes, including journals, accruals, pre-payments and management reporting
Responding professionally to customer and supplier queries
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting

What we’re looking for:

Strong practical experience using Xero
Good understanding of sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and reconciliations
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident working with spreadsheets and financial reports
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
