We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Data Quality Co-ordinators to join our friendly and supportive Data Quality Team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to help improve the quality of patient information across the Trust. High-quality data is at the heart of delivering safe, effective patient care, ensuring patients receive the right care at the right time, and supporting the Trust to meet national standards and performance targets.
Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues to investigate and resolve data quality issues, validate patient information and support continuous improvements to the quality of our electronic patient record systems.

As a Data Quality Co-ordinator, you will play a key role in improving the quality and integrity of patient data across the Trust's electronic patient record and other clinical systems. By ensuring information is accurate, complete and up to date, you will directly support patient care, statutory reporting and key national performance standards, including Referral to Treatment (RTT) waiting times.
- Improving data quality within the Trust's electronic patient record and other relevant clinical systems through the validation and correction of patient data.
- Ensuring patient information is accurate, complete and up to date, supporting statutory and internal reporting requirements, including Referral to Treatment (RTT) waiting times and other key performance indicators.
- Investigating data quality issues, identifying trends and recurring errors, and collating evidence and audit information to support the Data Quality Manager.
- Supporting data quality improvement projects and service developments as directed by the Data Quality Manager.
- Validating and maintaining patient records in line with national standards and Trust policies
- Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to resolve data quality issues and promote good data quality practices.
- Maintaining accurate records of validation activities and corrective actions.
- Prioritising and managing your workload to meet agreed deadlines.
