Overview

Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Kitchen Assistant/Pot Washer and be a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting culinary operations and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, clean, and sanitize pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet hygiene standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service
Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and storage spaces
Help with organizing supplies and ensuring ingredients are stored properly
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely preparation and smooth operation during busy periods

Requirements

Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is advantageous
Strong understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
A genuine interest in hospitality and culinary arts is highly valued

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
