Keep great coffee moving and grow your customer-facing coffee experience
We’re looking for an experienced barista or coffee professional who enjoys working with people, sharing knowledge and getting out on the road.
As our Coffee Trainer & Delivery Driver, you’ll combine regular coffee deliveries with foundation-level barista training and practical customer support. Around three days each week will usually focus on deliveries, with two days dedicated to training and customer visits, although the balance will flex according to demand.
You’ll become one of the most familiar faces our customers see. Delivering their coffee reliably, building positive relationships and offering practical advice that helps their teams serve consistently great coffee.
This is a strong first step into Account Management for someone who already understands specialty coffee and hospitality but wants to build experience in customer relationships, field support and commercial awareness.
You do not need to have worked as a formal trainer or delivery driver before. You may already coach newer baristas, lead shifts, help troubleshoot coffee quality or enjoy supporting customers and colleagues. We’ll provide training and support to help you grow into the role.
.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver coffee, equipment and other customer orders safely, accurately and on time.
- Plan efficient routes and communicate clearly about delays, access issues or delivery concerns.
- Load, secure and unload products carefully, following safe manual-handling practices.
- Carry out vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery, mileage and vehicle records.
- Deliver engaging foundation-level barista training at customer sites and Extract training spaces.
- Coach customer teams in espresso preparation, grinder adjustment, milk steaming, drink building, workflow, cleaning and daily equipment care.
- Adapt your training and communication to different customers, teams and levels of experience.
- Carry out basic coffee-quality checks and provide practical, on-the-spot coaching.
- Build trusted customer relationships and answer routine questions about coffee, storage, cleaning and good barista practice.
- Encourage efficient workflows and help customers understand what affects coffee quality and consistency.
- Listen to customer feedback, identify quality, equipment, training or service concerns, and pass them promptly to the Account Manager or appropriate team.
- Keep customer visits, training outcomes and follow-up actions accurately recorded.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience working in specialty coffee, hospitality or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Good barista skills and a sound understanding of espresso preparation, grinder adjustment and milk steaming.
- Strong specialty coffee knowledge and an interest in helping others improve.
- A warm, clear and supportive communication style.
- Confidence building relationships with customers and responding to routine questions.
- Good organisation and the ability to manage a varied, field-based working day.
- A practical, calm and solutions-focused approach.

- The physical ability to complete regular loading, unloading and delivery duties.
- Confidence using digital systems to record customer, delivery and training activity.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the region.
You do not need previous formal training or delivery experience. Experience coaching baristas, leading shifts, driving for work or working across multiple customer sites would be helpful, but not essential.
