An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Highways, Traffic & Enforcement section within Neighbourhoods, Planning & Public Protection Service. The Highways, Traffic & Enforcement section are responsible for delivering Traffic Management, Road Safety, Enforcement, Active Travel and Transportation services on behalf of the Authority.
The Senior Traffic Management Technician sits within this team and will be responsible for, investigating and responding to all forms of service correspondence, preparation of traffic regulations orders, recording, assessment and where required, implementation of all highway related projects.
In addition, there will be a requirement to undertake the assessment, design (using CAD software), site supervision, financial and project management of small/medium highway, active travel, road safety, signing and lining schemes in accordance with relevant design guidance and best practice.
