KBB & Interior Design Consultant

Bathrooms | Kitchens | Bedrooms | Interiors

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Aylesbury Bathroom & Tile Centre has been successfully trading in Aylesbury for over 16 years. As part of an ambitious expansion, we now operate dedicated bathroom and kitchen showrooms, with a bedroom showroom, interior design centre, and wellness centre opening in 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, design-led business with long-term career progression.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced KBB & Interior Design Consultant to join our showroom team. This is a customer-facing role combining design, sales, and project coordination across bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and interior spaces.

You will manage clients from initial enquiry through to final design and sale, delivering a high standard of service and design expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design and present customer plans, mood boards, and quotations
Use CAD software (Virtual Worlds and Winner) to create accurate designs
Generate and follow up new business leads and quotations
Guide customers through the full design and buying process
Build strong customer relationships and manage client expectations
Close sales and achieve agreed targets
Maintain high showroom presentation standards
Carry out general showroom administration and follow-ups
Support social media activity with engaging content (desirable)

Skills & Experience Required

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a KBB showroom environment
Strong product knowledge of bathrooms, kitchens, and/or bedrooms
Good understanding of plumbing processes and industry standards
Experience using Virtual Worlds and Winner CAD (training available)
Adobe design skills advantageous
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Reliable, customer-focused, and professional
Strong sales ability with a consultative approach

Working Hours

Full-time, 5 days per week on a rota basis (including every other weekend):

Monday–Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Sunday: 8:30am – 1:00pm

Salary & Benefits

£29,000 – £38,000 per annum (DOE)
4 weeks’ paid holiday
