Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering pharmaceutical products to customers in a timely and safe manner, ensuring excellent customer service throughout each journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in delivery services, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with the role. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic environment where safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are our top priorities.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver pharmacy orders to customers' premises across designated routes.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and route sheets.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety during transit.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred; experience with pharmacy or healthcare deliveries is advantageous.
Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
Experience in commercial driving or warehouse environments is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling medication boxes or supplies.
Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and prolonged periods of driving.
