42 hours per week
4 on 4 off (Nights 17:15pm- 5:15am)
£14.06 per hour

Security Officer

Crown Bevcan, Botcherby, Carlisle, CA1 2TL

We're looking for a professional and organised Security Officer to join our team. This is a gatehouse-based, lone working role where you'll be responsible for maintaining site security, monitoring CCTV, managing access to the site and completing a significant amount of administration throughout your shift.

If you enjoy a role that combines security with customer service and administration, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

Manage gatehouse operations
Monitor CCTV systems
Control vehicle and visitor access
Complete security paperwork and reports
Carry out reception duties
Answer telephones and emails
Maintain security records
Respond to alarms and incidents
Complete shift handovers
Work independently on night shifts
Deliver excellent customer service

What you'll bring:

Valid SIA Licence (essential)
Previous gatehouse or reception security experience
Strong administration skills
Good IT and computer skills
Experience monitoring CCTV
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work alone and make decisions
Professional and reliable approach
