Full job description

Shires Estate Agents are on the lookout for an experienced, driven and seriously motivated Valuer to lead the charge from our established Bury office.

No endless corporate waffle. No glass ceiling. No beige energy.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit quietly behind a desk waiting for the phone to ring. We need someone who can spot opportunity, create opportunity, chase opportunity, and then turn that opportunity into instructions.

In short: we need a proper go-getter.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

· Attending valuations and winning instructions

· Following up leads like a professional terrier

· Managing your instructions through to sale

· Generating your own stream of valuation opportunities

· Driving new business activity within the office

· Coaching and encouraging the wider sales team to do the same

· Reporting to the Branch Manager and helping push the office forward

· You’ll be the person bringing energy, ideas, momentum and, ideally, plenty of “we’ve just won another one” moments.

You’ll need to be:

· Experienced in property sales

· Confident attending valuations

· Proven at winning instructions

· Positive, persuasive and tenacious

· Competitive, but not the “hides the biscuits from the team” kind

· Brilliant with people

· Organised, proactive and commercially minded

· A strong communicator and natural relationship-builder

· A team player who still loves smashing their own targets

The Package

Basic salary between £28,000 and £32,000

Realistic OTE of £60,000+

Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm

Alternate Saturdays, 9:00am–1:00pm

Time off in lieu during the week when a Saturday is worked

Full-time, permanent role
