Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile individual confident in undertaking carpentry and plumbing works in commercial and residential settings.
We are currently carrying out commercial bathroom refurbishments in Harlow and Chelmsford. Works include; ceilings, LVT flooring, first and second fix plumbing, decorating, and carpentry works including framing out for sinks, and wall panelling. Please advise what aspects you have good experience with when applying.
Ideally, a start date of 15th June, running for six weeks with the opportunity of carrying on to the next project.
Due to our works taking place in occupied buildings, being able to liaising with/appease office staff is of high importance.
Out of hours works are required, although always kept to a minimum with forward planning.

- Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing out for IPS panels.
- Decorating - preparation and finishing.
- First and second fix plumbing work.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively across various projects.
- Plan works to ensure a high standard of finish in line with the program of works.
- Good social skills, ensuring the staff/home owner is happy at all times.
- Available to carry out works, out of hours if required.
- Own transport/full driving license.
Experience
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, and plumbing.
- Experience working independently and part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to building sites and maintenance work.
- Ability to read technical drawings or plans is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills.

Hourly rate based on an eight hour day, five day week, Monday - Friday. Starting at 8am - 4/4.30pm but can be flexible.
Pay: £14.84-£24.50 per hour
