Solar PV Electrician / Renewable Energy Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)

About Us
Cahill Renewables is a rapidly growing renewable energy company based in Colchester, specialising in the design and installation of Solar PV, Battery Storage and Renewable Energy systems across domestic, social housing and commercial sectors.
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our installation team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Solar PV and Battery Storage installations, electrical testing, commissioning, fault finding and maintenance works across a variety of projects.
You will be required to report to our Colchester yard each morning to collect equipment and materials before travelling to site.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience working within the Solar PV industry
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
ECS Gold Card (preferred)
AM2 qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong understanding of Solar PV systems and associated electrical works
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
Desirable Qualifications
Solar PV Installation qualification
Battery Storage installation experience
Testing & Inspection qualifications (2391 or equivalent)
Experience with major inverter and battery manufacturers such as Fox ESS, Sigenergy, Tesla and SolarEdge

Location Requirement
Applicants must live within approximately 40 minutes of Colchester, as daily attendance at our Colchester yard is required.
