Full job description

We are looking for a bookkeeper for a small LTD company and Self-Assessment in the music industry. This is a part-time self-employed role, 5 –10 hours a week anticipated. You will need to be happy to fit in with the way the day to day business is ran, using a Dropbox folder to keep all documents and accounts up-to date. As well as the day to day bookkeeping you will need to be able to submit both Self-Assessment, VAT returns and LTD Company Accounts. You will be expected to keep the accounts up to date weekly, with a monthly review available to the director.

We have an initial bulk of work that I would like done immediately for accounts YE 2020 - 2021 but it is not as much as usual as we have been out of work for a year.

You must have excellent knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting but no need to be a qualified accountant.

Job Requirements

Preparing and submitting accounts for LTD company (music agency) and sole trader accounts for director which includes rental accounts.

Remote, 5 hours a week – 10hours a week.

Dealing with receipts in and out

Keeping in order all accounting manuals

Cross-referencing all receipt expectations in manuals to ensure nothing has been missed

Flexible Requirements / Not Essential

Completing invoices for clients, which will need to be actioned within 24 hours

Chasing payments and ensure money clears in the account
