Purpose of job
- To provide a night time security, health & safety service across a geographical patch, ensuring that customers are kept safe & secure in their homes and that all current legislative and regulatory compliance information is up to date and available as required.

- Fixed hour contract with a regular shift pattern 4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts average 42 hour week, Hours 9pm - 9am

Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure that all properties within a geographical patch are secure at all times.
- Ensure that all serious concerns are reported to a manager, and / or the Police as appropriate.
- Ensure that safeguarding incidents, accidents and near misses are reported and responded to swiftly appropriately.
- Complete accident, incident and client file logs, and ensure that there is a written record of anything of significance throughout the night and every night.
- Provide reports and data as required by managers.
- Monitor CCTV footage as appropriate, ensuring the safety of customers and colleagues.
- Report repairs and maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure that health and safety and security checks are completed on a regular basis; escalating any concerns as appropriate.
- Participate in a handover at the beginning and end of each shift, working closely with day colleagues to ensure that any agreed actions are completed.
- Participate in team meetings as required.
- DBS checks are required for roles where you will be working with or have lone contact with Vulnerable Adults
Education, Training, Skills and work experience
ESSENTIAL
- Experience of working with and supporting vulnerable people
- Experience of working with those experiencing addiction and/or poor mental health.
- Security Experience
