Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated fitter/joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years fitting experience and a high-level understanding of joinery. The successful applicant will be required to fit high-quality items such as windows, doors and porches on new and existing properties.

Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to drawings or specifications
Install doors, windows, porches & other joinery items.
Fit and secure components using hand and power tools
Read and interpret technical drawings
Ensure work meets safety and quality standards
Collaborate with site supervisors, contractors, and other trades peoples.

Qualifications

At least 15 years’ experience in fitting work & carpentry
A high-level knowledge of joinery
Ability to read technical drawings
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Attention to detail and accuracy
Physical fitness and manual dexterity
Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
