Job Title: 2026 Skipper – 10m Humber RIB (Lulworth Cove – Durdle Door Trips)

Location: Lulworth Cove, Dorset
Job Type: Seasonal / Part-time
Salary: TBC depending on experience

Start date: July 2026

End date: September 2026

About the Role

We’re looking for a fun, confident, safety-conscious and enthusiastic Skipper to operate our 10m Humber RIB, running regular 20-minute coastal trips between Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the UK’s most iconic coastal locations, delivering unforgettable experiences for visitors.

You’ll be responsible for skippering short sightseeing trips for groups, providing engaging commentary, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and customer care.

*Please note the boats are based in Weymouth and you will be required to start and end the day at Weymouth*

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a 10m Humber RIB for scheduled 20-minute trips along the Jurassic Coast.
Conduct safety briefings and ensure all passengers comply with safety procedures.
Provide friendly, informative commentary about local landmarks and marine life.
Carry out daily safety checks and basic maintenance of the vessel.
Work collaboratively with shore crew and management to maintain efficient trip scheduling.
Represent the business professionally with excellent customer service.

Requirements

RYA Advanced Powerboat (Commercially Endorsed) or RYA Coastal/Offshore Skipper with commercial endorsement.
Valid Commercial Endorsement, Sea Survival, First Aid, VHF and PPR certificates.
Medical certificate
Strong local area knowledge (Jurassic Coast) desirable but not essential.
Confident handling RIBs in varying coastal conditions.
Great communication skills and a personable, outgoing attitude.
