Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting shoppers with their needs. Your passion for gardening and horticulture will help inspire customers and guide them in selecting the perfect products. This position offers a dynamic environment where communication skills, organization, and a positive attitude are essential to creating memorable shopping experiences for all visitors.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and offer expert advice on gardening, plants, and horticultural products
Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide detailed product information
Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising techniques
Manage stock levels, organize inventory, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and tidy
Communicate product features and benefits clearly in multiple languages such as English and Spanish when needed
Support store operations by processing transactions accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with team members to ensure a welcoming, organized, and engaging shopping environment

Requirements

Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi or other languages is a plus
Passion for gardening and DIY with basic knowledge of plant care and other building jobs.
Excellent organizational skills to manage stock, displays, and customer requests effectively
Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base confidently
Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is key
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
A friendly, proactive attitude with strong teamwork skills
