Barber – Your Own Chair in Whitby
Furbellow & Co. is a family-run gentlemen's outfitters in the heart of Whitby. As purveyors of fine things, we value craftsmanship, good conversation and products made to last. For that reason, we've always believed a good barber belongs at the back of the shop.
For the past eleven months, our barber's chair has sat empty.
We're looking for the right person to bring it back to life.
This isn't a typical barbering role. We have a dedicated one-chair barbering space within the shop and are open to discussing a variety of working arrangements. Whether you're looking for a full-time base, a couple of regular days each week, or the opportunity to build something of your own, we'd love to have a conversation.
What we're looking for
- An experienced barber confident working independently in a single-chair environment.
- Someone who enjoys building lasting relationships with customers and providing excellent service.
- A professional who takes pride in their work and values craftsmanship, conversation and community.
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in building their own loyal customer base.
