DELIVERY DRIVERS / COURIERS WANTED – WHITBY

£18–£30 PER HOUR EARNING POTENTIAL | WEEKLY PAY | FLEXIBLE WORK

Octopus Logistics Limited is looking for reliable and motivated self-employed Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / Couriers to join our growing team covering Whitby and the surrounding area.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the move, working independently and providing a high standard of service.

The role

As a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels safely and efficiently within your designated delivery area.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Completing multiple parcel deliveries and collections
Loading and organising parcels into your vehicle
Following an efficient delivery route
Checking addresses and delivery instructions
Taking accurate delivery photographs where required
Obtaining signatures where required
Using the delivery app to complete and record deliveries
Communicating professionally with customers
Keeping customers informed through the app where appropriate
Handling parcels carefully and responsibly
Following road traffic laws and safe working practices
Carrying out basic safety checks on your vehicle

What you’ll need

Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
Your own suitable vehicle
Smartphone with a camera
Reliable and professional attitude
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently
Good timekeeping and organisational skills
Confidence using GPS/navigation and smartphone apps

Previous multi-drop or delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

If you haven’t worked in parcel delivery before, full training will be provided.

Whitby, North Yorkshire

Applicants must be able to reliably commute to and work within the Whitby area.
