The Role

Dispense prescriptions accurately and undertake final accuracy checking (if ACT qualified).
Support the delivery of NHS and private pharmacy services.
Provide excellent customer service at the front counter and advise on minor ailments and the safe use of over-the-counter medicines within your scope of practice.
Provide leadership in coordinating dispensary workflow in collaboration with the Responsible Pharmacist to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Manage medicine stock, including ordering, stock rotation, and expiry date monitoring.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant pharmacy environment.
Work flexibly as part of the pharmacy team to support the safe and effective day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

We are looking for someone who:

Is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Has previous experience working in a UK community pharmacy.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is reliable, proactive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
A strong team player who enjoys working in a small, close-knit team

Proposed Shift Pattern:

Monday: 13:40 – 18:10 (4.5 hours)

Wednesday: 09:00 – 14:00 (5 hours)

Thurs: 13:40 – 18:10 (4.5 hours)

Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00 (4 hours)

Total hours: 18 hours

*Shift times may vary slightly in line with business needs, with reasonable notice provided.

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
