Role Overview
Whitehaven Marina, part of the Marina Projects Group, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marina Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our picturesque marina, ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks and providing excellent support to our customers and staff.
Responsibilities
· Customer Service - Provide friendly and professional service to marina customers, both in person and via phone/email.
· Administrative Duties - Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and handling correspondence.
· Booking Management - Handle berth bookings, reservations, and related documentation.
· Billing and Invoicing - Prepare and manage invoices, process payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
· Record Keeping - Maintain up-to-date records of all marina activities, including visitor logs, maintenance schedules, and inventory.
· Support - Assist the Marina Manager and Marina Administrator with various tasks as needed, including event planning and coordination.
Requirements
· Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred, ideally within the marina or hospitality industry.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Knowledge of database or marina management software is a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
· Ability to work well in a team and interact positively with customers and colleagues.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
