Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and dental health to develop their career within a friendly and professional environment.

Duties

Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials.
Providing exceptional patient care, ensuring patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit.
Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation protocols to uphold hygiene standards.
Managing appointment schedules and patient records with organisational precision.
Providing post-treatment advice and instructions to patients.
Supporting administrative tasks such as updating patient information using IT systems.
Ensuring the dental operatory is clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times.
Communicating effectively with patients, team members, and external providers to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications

recognised qualification as a Dental Nurse (or equivalent).
Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software.
Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating professionalism and empathy. This role is ideal for motivated individuals committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive environment.
