Full job description

Dice & Destiny is one of the UK's fastest-growing tabletop gaming retailers and event organisers. We attend conventions across the UK, operate a large gaming venue in Canterbury, and work with leading publishers and brands across the hobby gaming industry.

We are looking for an Events & Operations Lead to help plan, deliver and grow our convention and events business.

This is a hands-on role for somebody who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is just as comfortable helping unload a van as they are building relationships with partners and event organisers.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver conventions, exhibitions and external events.
Organise travel, accommodation and event logistics.
Lead event setup and breakdown.
Coordinate volunteers and event staff.
Drive company vehicles, including a Luton van.
Manage event operations during live shows.
Maintain relationships with partners and event organisers.
Identify and evaluate new event opportunities.
Support wider business operations when not actively preparing for events.

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Confidence driving larger vehicles or willingness to learn.
Comfortable working weekends and attending multi-day events.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Physically capable of loading and moving stock and equipment.

Desirable Experience

Events, exhibitions or convention experience.
Team leadership or volunteer coordination.
Retail, hospitality or operations experience.
Tabletop gaming industry knowledge.
