About Us

We are an established hospitality operator with over a decade of experience running successful venues, currently. We are looking for a commercially minded part time finance to take ownership of the financial function and bring clarity, control, and insight to 2 venues in Whitstable and Canterbury

The Role

This is not just a bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who can take full ownership of the numbers and actively help drive profitability and performance.

You will be responsible for:

Producing weekly cashflow reports and forecasts
Delivering monthly P&L with clear insights and actions
Monitoring and improving labour %, GP margins, and costs
Managing payments and cost control
Supporting budgeting and financial planning
Identifying risks and opportunities early
Working closely with the owner to support high level decision-making whilst taking full ownership of day to day decisions

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Finance assistant / Bookeeper (hospitality experience preferred but not essential)
Strong commercial awareness, not just reporting, but improving performance
Confident working independently and taking ownership
Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Solid understanding of KPIs (labour %, GP %, wastage, cashflow)

The business has clear, accurate weekly financial visibility
Costs are controlled and margins are improving
Full financial management of the businesses
Decisions are made with confidence, based on real data
