Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant (Data Entry Clerk) to join our finance team. This role involves processing transactions, and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage accounting software and possess strong organisational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using Sage accounting software
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner
Reconcile statements and ensure all financial data is correctly entered and up-to-date
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents

Skills

Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
