As Rapidrop continues to grow, we are seeking a Group Warehouse Manager to lead our global warehousing and logistics operations and support the next phase of our operational development.
The Role
The Group Warehouse Manager will play a key role in leading Rapidrop's global warehousing and logistics network.
You will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations across the UK and UAE, whilst managing relationships and performance across third-party logistics providers in South Africa, Denmark and the Netherlands.
Working closely with operations, procurement, supply chain, finance and sales teams, you will drive operational performance, inventory accuracy, logistics efficiency and continuous improvement across the business.
This role will involve occasional international travel to support warehouse operations, logistics partners, operational projects and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Logistics
- Lead and oversee warehouse operations across Rapidrop's global warehouse network
- Ensure high standards of operational performance, inventory accuracy and service delivery
- Support sourcing, freight and logistics activities to ensure efficient global movement of goods
- Monitor warehouse performance, stock movement and operational KPIs
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, health and safety requirements and operational standards
Inventory & Stock Management
- Develop and maintain robust inventory management and stock control processes
- Drive improvements in stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency across all locations
- Oversee warehouse systems, reporting and operational records
- Identify and mitigate operational risks relating to inventory and logistics activity
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, motivate and develop warehouse teams across multiple locations
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers
- Work collaboratively with supply chain, procurement, finance, operations and sales teams
- Provide regular reporting and operational updates to senior stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, logistics performance and operational controls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across global warehouse operations
- Support operational projects and process improvements
- Monitor industry trends and best practice to support ongoing development
About You
We are looking for a commercially aware and operationally focused leader who enjoys driving performance, improving processes and managing complex international operations.
Your experience will include:
- Proven experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain management
- Experience managing multi-site warehouse operations
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations
- Experience overseeing international freight and logistics activities
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced operational environment
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience implementing a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, construction products or industrial distribution environments
