Automotive Studio is the in-house creative solutions team within the Automotive Division at Haymarket Media Group. We work with a vast range of clients from the largest OEMs through to automotive aftermarket companies to deliver innovative and engaging campaigns that meet their commercial objectives. We work directly with clients and their media agencies to ensure high standards of client service and campaign delivery. Our services include digital advertising, video production, written content, social media, events, print, research and more, and are delivered through Haymarket’s automotive publications (What Car?, Autocar and Classic & Sports Car) or as standalone, white-label creative solutions.
As Project Manager within Automotive Studio, you will be the central point of contact for all stakeholders related to your projects. You will work closely with the commercial, ad operations and agency teams to ensure campaigns deliver as planned, and with the Studio creative team and our network of freelancers to ensure content is produced to the highest standards. As such, you will be required to fulfil two sides to this job...
Firstly, you’ll need to oversee the delivery of the campaigns to client and commercial expectations. This includes client management, updating delivery reports leading client status meetings and utilising Trello to help manage the creative team’s asset delivery.
Secondly, you will be involved in video and photo shoots. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in the creation of our content out on location and as Project Manager, you’ll be expected to manage productions from start to finish. This will include drafting initial costings, booking locations, talent and crew, and being on-location to ensure the shoots run to time and stay on budget. This requires some creative flair, problem solving skills, and an understanding of automotive video content is helpful in ensuring the team is delivering the project to its brief.
This role is best suited for someone who is able to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple stakeholders, can operate under pressure in a fast paced environment, and has a creative and collaborative approach. The successful applicant will be highly-organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
