City Services Group is a well-established family-run company specializing in scaffolding & asbestos services across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and public projects. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent service with a focus on safety and compliance.

Summary

We are seeking an Asbestos Manager to join our team. This role is vital in overseeing our asbestos surveying and removal services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while contributing to our mission of providing reliable service across all projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of asbestos surveying and removal operations.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company safety standards.
Manage project timelines and resources effectively.
Lead a team of professionals in delivering high-quality service.
Develop and implement training programs for staff on asbestos management.
Maintain accurate records of all asbestos-related activities.
Liaise with clients to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper documentation.
Undergo specific training applicable to on site tasks when required (i.e. MEWPS, Confined Space Training etc).

Qualifications
Proven experience in asbestos management or related field.
Strong leadership and management skills.
Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of construction processes is advantageous.
Relevant certifications in asbestos surveying/removal preferred.
