About Dingley's Promise

Dingley's Promise is the UK's largest specialist early years SEND charity, supporting children aged 0–5 with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. We operate twelve specialist centres across England and deliver national training to over 30,000 early years practitioners each year. Our mission is to make sure every child with SEND gets the best possible start in life.

This role sits within a national government-funded programme delivering high-quality online CPD to up to 10,000 early years practitioners across England, in partnership with a consortium of specialist sector organisations.

Role Purpose

Lead the day-to-day delivery of a national early years SEND CPD programme, coordinating across Dingley's Promise teams and a national partner network to ensure the programme launches on time, delivers to quality, and meets all contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Programme delivery

Own and maintain the programme plan, ensuring all workstreams — content development, LMS build, partner management, marketing, and learner support — progress to time and budget
Coordinate weekly operational meetings with internal teams and external partners
Track and report on programme KPIs: registrations, starts, completions, learner confidence data and partner deliverables
Identify and escalate risks proactively, maintaining a live risk register
Prepare monthly progress reports for the Head of Training, CEO and the funder as required

Partner management

Act as the primary operational contact for all partner organisations
Manage partner delivery schedules, content sign-off timelines and payment milestones
Ensure all subcontractor agreements are in place and obligations are being met
Coordinate partner steering group meetings and distribute papers and actions

Contract management

Monitor delivery against the contract specification and KPI framework
Prepare and submit funder reporting returns on schedule
Liaise with Finance on invoicing, payment processing and budget tracking
Support the Head of Training in funder relationship management

Quality and compliance

Ensure all programme activity meets funder requirements and Dingley's Promise quality standards
Manage the rectification plan process where performance falls below threshold
Maintain accurate programme documentation for audit and evaluation purposes

Person Specification

Essential

Knowledge of SEND policy and the early years workforce
Demonstrable experience managing complex multi-partner programmes or projects to time and budget
Experience working in or with the education, training or early years sector
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
Confident communicator with experience managing relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Competent with project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
Experience preparing concise management reports and board-level updates
Understanding of contractual obligations and compliance in a public sector or grant context

Desirable

Experience working on government-funded or grant-funded programmes
Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)
Experience managing digital or e-learning delivery programmes
