Overview

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Assistant and become a vital part of creating delicious, high-quality baked goods that delight our customers! As a Bakery Assistant, you'll support the bakery operations by assisting with food production, ensuring food safety standards are met, and helping deliver an exceptional experience for every guest.

Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and baking products according to established recipes and quality standards
Support the food production process by measuring, mixing, and assembling baked goods with precision
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other baking tools
Help with packaging and labeling baked items for display or delivery while ensuring presentation quality
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for team members and customers
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deliver fresh, tasty baked goods consistently

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, baking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices in a commercial kitchen is a plus
Hands-on experience with cooking or culinary tasks demonstrates your ability to handle food production duties effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness are essential for maintaining high-quality standards
Experience working in a fast-paced environment helps you adapt quickly and stay organized under pressure
