About the role

We are a well-established business based in a rural location close to Sawbridgeworth, supplying the hospitality sector with a range of branded paper products.

We are looking for a new full-time member to join our telesales team.

This is a trainee position, so previous telesales experience is not necessary. However, this is a genuine telephone sales role with targets, so you must be confident speaking to customers and comfortable picking up the telephone and having conversations with people you have not spoken to before.

Your role will include:

Managing and developing existing customer accounts
Building new customer accounts through telephone sales
Speaking to customers and potential customers throughout the day
Using social media as part of our marketing and sales activity
Developing your sales and communication skills
Working towards sales targets

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is:

Confident and friendly on the telephone
A good communicator who can hold a conversation naturally
Enthusiastic and motivated
Comfortable speaking to new people
Able to listen and respond appropriately
Keen to learn and develop a career in sales
A self-starter who can work towards targets
Able to communicate clearly in English

You do not need previous sales experience. What matters most to us is your attitude, confidence and communication skills.

Good GCSE results (or equivalent), particularly in English and Maths, are desirable.

A driving licence is preferred because of our location.

IMPORTANT – LOCATION

We are based in the countryside and there is NO public transport to our premises.

There are also no pavements suitable for walking to the business.

You must therefore be able to drive to work or have reliable transport/a lift available.
