How you'll make an impact:

Role model for safety behaviours and practices, to ensure Zero lost times accidents or Process Safety Incidents
-
Plan and organise all materials needed by the plant to safely deliver outstanding everyday service to internal and external customers (includes raw and pack materials, line scheduling, capacity planning, materials planning/call off)

Monitor, review and improve function KPIs, plant caused service fails, DOH Levels, SIFOT/DIFOT, MPSA etc..

Ensure production plan is defined to meet Customer needs with optimal efficiency and cost with a forward looking plan
-
Ensure the supply of raw materials and packaging to plant demand, picked materials to line in time to deliver production plan
-
Manage the outbound logistics for direct delivery to Customers mainly Bulk deliveries and to third party warehouses
-
Manage the Portafeed Operations on-site and be the point of liaison for Ecolab Packaging Systems
-
Manage overall inventory levels on site ensuring compliance with acceptable COMAH storage criteria
-
Manage the annual Stock check activity together with the Operations and Finance team
-
Liaise with other divisions and functions regularly, to ensure high levels of communication and information sharing is in place to be ahead of the game ie phase-out or new product introduction (NPI)

Manage insourcing process of UKIE volume and set-ups in relevant systems NSAP | FST
-
Robust control and action plans in place to avoid and reduce at Risk Inventory and E&O
-
Point of contact for any customer service complaints and resolution
-
Engage and drive own team to grow and develop in their jobs
-
Annual PP+D plans for full team with regular check-ins with individual development plans
-
Monitor, act and improve OTIF Supplier metrics involving Procurement
-
Ensure regular cycle count is completed, accuracy and compliance, any anomalies acted upon and
-
SOX review compliance for purchasing and PO creation
-
BCP (business continuation plans) in place to ensure raw & pack material continuity in times of unforeseen activity ie. dual source set-up
Qualifications:
-
7+ Years experience in a Supply Chain role, including elements of Operations, Logistics and Planning. Ideally Degree qualified (or equivalent professional body) in either a Supply Chain, Planning or Logistics related field.

Able to demonstrate strong leadership skills in the daily management of a function within a manufacturing facility within a highly regulated industry and unionised workforce.
