We currently employ around 160 employees across our factory and offices, working together to provide high quality products to our customers.

Job Specification
Your role as an Assistant Accountant/Accounting Technician will involve maintaining the company’s financial systems and supporting the effective operation of the finance function. You will be responsible for a range of day-to-day accounting and administrative duties, including the following:
Customer/Supplier Orders
· Process customer and supplier orders using SOP and POP.
Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
· Process sales invoices in sterling and euros.
· Manage credit control activities, including:
o Setting up new customer accounts.
o Issuing statements.
o Chasing overdue invoices and resolving customer queries.
o Maintaining customer credit limits.
o Liaising with the credit insurance broker regarding any issues.
Purchase Ledger
· Process and post supplier invoices.
· Follow up on outstanding supplier credit notes.
· Reconcile supplier statements.
· Set up new supplier accounts and create stock codes.
· Prepare weekly payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Bank
· Post and allocate customer and supplier payments.
· Reconcile company bank accounts in GBP and EUR.
Management Reports
· Produce weekly sales reports for senior management.
· Prepare monthly projected profit reports for senior management.
· Assist with month-end management accounts.
Skills & Qualifications
· AAT qualified, or actively working towards a higher-level qualification.
· Strong attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
· Ability to investigate discrepancies and resolve issues effectively.
· Good IT skills, including competence in Microsoft Office and experience using accounting software.
· Confident written and verbal communication skills, with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service.
· Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the business, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
