You must be 18 or over due to licensing. At least 1 weekend working day will be required.

Reliability is a key requirement for this job!

▪︎ Part time front of house assisant 2 days per week (plus additional for holiday cover)

▪︎ Hours usually 5-7 hours per shift

▪︎ Current days are Monday and Saturday but are subject to change

▪︎ Daytime shifts (not late night) - latest finish 5pm

▪︎ Experience essential

We're happy to announce we're looking someone to join our team and help out in our wonderful little café bar & restaurant.

The position that is available will require both weekday and weekend working.

ABOUT US

We're a multi-award winning licensed coffee shop with an absolute passion to provide our customers with outstanding service at all times. We constantly strive to exceed expectations and are rated number 1 in Wigan across all review platforms.

We offer a range of homemade cakes, tempting savouries and amazing coffee along with a selection of beer, wines & spirits and premium soft drinks.

Our coffee shop restaurant is modern yet homely and a place where everyone can come and relax in a comfortable environment.

We do get very busy with food service and all our food is prepared by us in house.

We're open 7 days a week with longer hours at the weekend.

ABOUT THE VACANCY

All our roles will involve a lot of interaction with our customers. The main duties for this role will mainly be taking orders and payment, making & serving drinks, clearing tables, keeping the work area clean at all times.

The salary for this role will of course meet minimum wage upwards depending on experience plus there are some staff perks included with the role such as free drinks and half price food.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who is confident dealing with people on a day to day basis, friendly and outgoing with a keen eye for detail and of course reliable and trustworthy.

You'll have experience working in a hospitality environment preferably in a front of house role.

You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to work within our high standards at all times.

You'll be flexible and willing to change and not afraid to get your hands dirty and muck in when needed.

It is essential that you are comfortable working under your own initiaitive and you must be at least 18 years old as we are licensed and part of the role will involve serving alcoholic drinks.

Part-time hours: 10+ per week

Salary: £8 - £13 per hour depending on age and experience.
