Overview
We are seeking a skilled Line Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining line pumps on construction sites, ensuring efficient and safe delivery of materials. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial driving or excavator operation to contribute to our projects. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Operate line pumps to transfer concrete or other materials accurately and efficiently on construction sites
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pump machinery to ensure optimal functioning
- Assist with setup and dismantling of pump equipment at various locations
- Coordinate with site managers and other team members to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor the operation of the pump, adjusting settings as necessary for optimal performance
- Maintain detailed records of operations, maintenance, and safety checks
- Support with the operation of excavators or other heavy machinery as required
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport equipment or materials between sites, adhering to all road safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating line pumps in a construction environment
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of pump systems and maintenance procedures
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- CSCS card or NPORS preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required

Pay: £24,420.00-£39,986.31 per year
