About the Role
We are a premier print and packaging manufacturer experiencing exciting growth as we transition into next-generation packaging technology. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Gluing Machine Operator to join our production team.
In this role, you won't just run a machine; you will be the driving force behind the precision and quality of our final products. Operating versatile folding-gluing machinery—you will ensure our high-volume packaging solutions (from specialized takeaway containers to custom carton styles) meet strict quality standards before heading out to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation & Setup: Efficiently set up, operate, and adjust gluing machinery and tray formers for various carton styles and packaging runs.
Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks during production runs to ensure structural integrity, correct adhesive application, and flawless finishing.
Efficiency & Output: Maintain consistent production speeds and minimize waste while ensuring strict adherence to daily schedules.
Routine Maintenance: Perform basic, routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the machinery to maximize uptime and keep the line running smoothly.
Health & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the shop floor, following all company safety protocols.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Proven experience operating gluing machinery, tray formers, or similar finishing equipment within a print or packaging environment.
Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical understanding with the ability to troubleshoot minor technical hitches and handle precise machine adjustments.
Eye for Detail: A high standard for quality—you notice the little details that ensure the final product looks professional and functions perfectly.
