Driller / polisher / production operative to work in the mould tool finishing area of the business, working on thermo-forming tooling which in turn produces plastic packaging mainly for the food industry supplying supermarket chains and resellers worldwide.
Duties will include….
Drilling aluminium moulds with hand held high speed drills using venting drills varying between 0.4-0.8 mm diameter - this is fine, intricate work that requires care, patience and accuracy!!
Polishing aluminium moulds to various standards that have been manufactured on CNC machinery
Keeping factory production areas clean and tidy
Some assembly of flat pack wooden boxes and assisting with packing of tooling components ready for shipping
Assembly of some tooling components
General engineering workshop experience / interest an advantage.
Training will be given to the right candidate
Opportunity for overtime in busy periods
Friday Finish 2pm
