Full job description

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Assembly Line worker to join our fast paced Final Assembly Department, based in our purpose built Production Warehouse.

Working in a small team environment, you will be responsible for the complete assembly of our wide range of vehicles, such as our Tippers, Drop sides & our low floored Luton vans.

Working on the production assembly line requires an individual who can work well under pressure whilst adhering to timed targets & exceeding quality expectations. A meticulous eye for detail is imperative and someone who can successfully quality control their work through the production process is a must.

Previous experience within a similar role, or warehouse environment is desired, however not essential. Full induction & internal training will be given.

Responsibilities:

· 7am till 16:00pm Monday - Thursday 7am till 13:00pm Friday

· Produce quality products in a timely manner.

· Fitment of product to vehicles in line with the production schedule.

· Quality control checks throughout the production process

· Respect and follow all company policies (smoking, H&S, PPE, mobile phones, etc.)

Benefits:

starting on £27,758.64 a year (£12.71 an hour) with 8 pay grades to progress through taking you up to £39,819.74 a year (£18.23 an hour)

1pm finish on Fridays.

Founded in the early 1980's and still family run, Trucksmith has moved with the market place from being a jobbing Coachbuilder to designing, manufacturing and developing the most famous and successful range of 3.5 tonne GVW low floored Luton in Europe, completing both the exacting European Whole Vehicle Type Approval in early 2013 and following Brexit the UK Whole Vehicle Type Approval in 2020.
