Full job description

Timberwise is a family run specialist construction business located throughout England, Scotland and Wales that has been trading for over 50 years and is a founding member of the PCA. The company aspires to improve people's lives through a range of property preservation services from basement waterproofing to timber treatments.

The Role (OTE £40k-£45k)

As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our team of Property Care Technicians throughout the Midlands and specifically in the Birmingham area. You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of property preservation and repair works, with travel required within the Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct damp and timber treatments including dry rot, woodworm, and damp proofing.
Carry out waterproofing installations and associated first and second fix joinery work.
Complete general plastering tasks as required.
Ensure all works are completed to the highest standard, safely and efficiently.
Maintain excellent customer service and represent the Timberwise brand professionally on every project.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

Proven skills in plastering and/or joinery.
A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to plan and manage their own workload.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A valid CSCS card.
NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience in the preservation industry is desirable but full training will be provided.

Working Hours and Benefits

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (with occasional out-of-hours or weekend work paid as overtime)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience and skill level
