Job Title: Security & Warehouse Operative

Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm (8-hour day including a 30-minute lunch break)
The Role
As the Security & Warehouse Operations Coordinator, you will act as the central link between field operations, warehouse operations, and office-based teams. Supporting the Head of Operations, you will coordinate day-to-day security logistics, manage stock and equipment, oversee inventory control, respond to live alarm alerts, organise schedules, and ensure security assets are deployed efficiently across our property portfolio.
This role combines operational security coordination with warehouse and stock management responsibilities, ensuring that security equipment, CCTV systems, alarms, and associated assets are accurately tracked, maintained, and readily available to support client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
- Schedule installations, maintenance visits, site inspections, and monitoring activities
- Liaise with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams
- Monitor job progress and proactively resolve operational issues
- Respond to and coordinate live alarm activations and security incidents
- Maintain operational records, incident logs, and reporting systems
- Support the efficient delivery of security services across the business
Warehouse & Stock Control
- Manage the day-to-day organisation of the warehouse and storage areas
- Receive, check, record, and safely store incoming equipment and materials
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory management systems
- Track the movement, allocation, and return of security equipment including CCTV units, alarms, batteries, towers, and associated assets
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate equipment preparation and dispatch for installations and maintenance works
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and proactively identify replenishment requirements
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support procurement and stock availability
- Ensure warehouse operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures
Requirements
Essential
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, warehouse coordination, stock control, logistics, or operational support role
- Experience organising, tracking, and managing stock and inventory using manual or digital systems
- Proven ability to multitask under pressure, coordinating schedules, stock movements, site activities, and client requests simultaneously
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Valid SIA Front-Line or Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) Licence
- Ability to pass rigorous vetting and screening requirements
- Competent user of Microsoft Office applications and stock management systems
Desirable
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience working within a security control room, dispatch hub, warehouse, logistics, or facilities management environment
- Experience managing security equipment inventories, asset tracking, or fleet/equipment allocation
- Direct experience managing, testing, and responding to telemetry from CCTV ARC platforms and alarm monitoring portals
- Experience conducting stock audits and inventory reconciliation
- Developed data management skills with the ability to maintain accurate asset registers, occurrence logs, and incident reports
- IOSH Working Safely or similar health and safety qualification
- Forklift licence or warehouse operations certification (advantageous but not essential)
