Risk Analyst

We have a new opportunity for a Risk Analyst to join Northumbrian Water Group’s Asset Programme Management Office. Reporting to the Risk Lead, you will ensure projects and programmes comply with risk management best practice.
As Risk Analyst, you will support the capital project and programme community in driving NWG’s risk maturity through early risk identification, robust analysis and assessment and impactful mitigation and monitoring.
You will undertake cost and schedule risk analysis, communicating findings and recommendations to the Risk Lead and other internal stakeholders. You will support the development and roll-out of Opportunity Management procedures, collate risk management data to be presented in PMO reporting for the project community and support them through governance and process reviews.
You will ensure risks are well communicated across different functions and integrated project controls, and act as PMO’s risk management representative, attending meetings and contributing to risk management strategies, as well as advising on risk drawdown and release process.
About you
If you have experience in providing risk management support to deliver projects and programmes, we would love to hear from you!
You have experience managing large and complex risk datasets to analyse and draw conclusions and share insights with internal stakeholders. You will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and can influence the project community in adopting best practice risk management.
You will have good knowledge of current risk analysis techniques such as Quantitative Schedule Risk Assessments (QCRA) and Quantitative Cost Risk Assessments (QSRA). You will have experience using PowerBI reporting tools as well as MS packages including Project, SharePoint and Excel.
