Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their automotive service needs are met with exceptional service. This role involves coordinating repairs, providing accurate information, and upselling additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth. A strong understanding of mechanical concepts, excellent communication skills, and experience in customer service are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and establish a professional rapport to understand their vehicle concerns and service requirements
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended repairs and maintenance, ensuring clarity and transparency
- Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer’s vehicle and driving experience
- Coordinate with the service technicians to schedule repairs and ensure timely completion of work
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial dealings
- Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns promptly
- Maintain organised records of customer interactions, service histories, and sales activities
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and professional at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry or a related field is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with vehicle systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for technical understanding
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products or services effectively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Experience handling cash transactions accurately and confidently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear explanations and active listening
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Pay: £25,996.85-£40,000.00 per year
