Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated bricklayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various manual and technical skills, contributing to diverse projects that require precision, safety, and efficiency.

Duties

Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete construction and repair tasks
Perform bricklaying and masonry work with accuracy and attention to detail
Assist with carpentry projects, including framing, fitting, and finishing work
Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the worksite, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use

Experience

Proven experience in bricklaying, masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is highly desirable
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction
Previous exposure to working on construction sites/commercial buildings
Ability to read technical drawings or plans is an advantage but not essential
Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and procedures in previous roles

Applicants should be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 52 weeks

Pay: £180.00-£200.00 per day
