Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
Location: Stockport, SK5
Pay Rate: £14.50 - £18.50 per hour
Shifts: Part Time Days | 7:15am–7:45pm & 7:30am–3:30pm | Alternate weekends required

About This Role

A cheerful young boy who loves playing on his iPad, socialising, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys sharing laughter with his care team and is seeking someone likeminded and interactive to join his team who can engage in the activities he enjoys, including watching films and doing arts and crafts.

Your role is to provide essential daytime care, remain attentive, and support his daily needs, as his care requirements can be quite intensive at times.

Therefore, we are specifically seeking candidates with experience working with children within a healthcare setting, with hands-on experience or exposure to complex clinical care needs such as PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, and related interventions.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience or exposure supporting children or young people with complex clinical needs is essential. The specific clinical competencies required for our client are:

Peg feeding
Tracheostomy care
Suctioning
Cough assist

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
