Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a range of technical skills within a dynamic environment, contributing to infrastructure development and maintenance. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a strong background in mechanical and civil engineering disciplines, as well as practical hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Unblocking drains and being on call outs when required.
Resin Patching
CCTV surveys
Install, repair, and maintain drainage infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques
Conduct site inspections to assess existing drainage conditions and identify potential issues
Operate power tools, hand tools, and plumbing equipment safely and efficiently during project execution
Perform welding and carpentry tasks as required for system assembly or repair
Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks within budget constraints
Carry out heavy lifting and manual labour as necessary during installation or maintenance activities
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and environmental standards
Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections carried out

Skills

Proficiency in welding, plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hand tools and power tools
Strong mechanical knowledge related to drainage systems and infrastructure components
Ability to perform basic maths calculations for measurements, quantities, and system specifications
Experience with assembly processes involving drainage components or related equipment
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Valid commercial driving licence preferred for site access or transportation needs
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients

Pay: £24,420.00-£50,474.71 per year
