Part-Time E-commerce Fulfilment Assistant

LifeJacket is a growing British skin protection brand dedicated to protecting the skin of people who love spending time outdoors. We supply customers across the UK through our online store and work with a number of retail and event partners throughout the year.

The Role
The primary purpose of this role is to accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders placed through our Shopify website.
Alongside day-to-day order fulfilment, you'll also help support other warehouse and operational tasks as required, including:
- Picking, packing and dispatching e-commerce orders.
- Preparing products for retail partners, events and promotional activities.
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming deliveries.
- Organising and maintaining stock.
- Assisting with seasonal preparation ahead of our busiest periods.
- Helping keep the warehouse clean, organised and efficient.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and suggesting better ways of working.
Who We're Looking For
We're far more interested in your attitude and reliability than previous warehouse experience.
The ideal person will be:
- Exceptionally reliable and dependable.
- Comfortable working independently for much of the day.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to identify what needs doing without constant supervision.
- Logical and methodical when solving problems.
- Trustworthy and able to make sensible decisions when unexpected situations arise.
- Able to follow processes consistently while also using their own judgement when appropriate.
- Confident using a computer and learning new systems.
- Friendly, professional and willing to help wherever needed.
What Success Looks Like
Someone who succeeds in this role will:
- Ensure every customer order is packed accurately and dispatched on time.
- Maintain consistently high packing standards.
- Keep stock organised and easy to locate.
- Spot potential issues before they become problems.
- Take ownership of their work and continually look for ways to improve efficiency.
- Become someone the business can rely on without needing close supervision.
Experience
Previous warehouse, fulfilment, retail or e-commerce experience is helpful but not essential. Full training will be provided.
We're much more interested in finding someone who is dependable, intelligent, takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.
