Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our property portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of properties, supervising maintenance teams, and maintaining excellent relationships with tenants and stakeholders. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your management skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the smooth running and optimisation of property assets.

Duties

Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple properties, ensuring all aspects operate smoothly and efficiently.
Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, coordinating repairs, upgrades, and routine inspections.
Develop and implement property management strategies to optimise operational performance.
Manage tenant relations, including lease agreements, renewals, and resolving any issues promptly.
Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Maintain detailed records of property activities, maintenance schedules, and financial transactions.
Coordinate with external service providers such as electricians, plumbers, and security personnel.
Utilise management software to track property performance and generate reports for stakeholders.
Implement preventative maintenance programmes using knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, schematics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues early and ensure properties meet health and safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in property management or facilities management roles.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience in technical or maintenance teams.
Knowledge of project management principles to oversee renovation or repair projects effectively.
Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in electrical systems, schematics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Experience in managing budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential for clear communication across all levels.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
