Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to an exceptional guest experience. Prior hotel or janitorial experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for those who take pride in delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes
Adhere to organisational standards for hygiene, safety, and presentation

Qualifications

Previous hotel experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not mandatory
Experience in janitorial or cleaning services is desirable
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
