Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and personable Senior Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food and beverage service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves leading bar service, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. A passion for hospitality and excellent organisational skills are essential to thrive in this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
Lead the bar team by example, providing guidance and support to junior staff
Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with company standards and health & safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
Manage stock levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste
Engage with guests to create a memorable experience, addressing any special requests or concerns
Monitor guest interactions to uphold high levels of service quality and professionalism
Assist in training new team members on drink preparation, customer service, and safety procedures

Experience

Proven experience as a Bartender within a busy hospitality environment, ideally with restaurant experience
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to serve confidently and courteously
Proficiency in basic maths for handling bills, change, and inventory management
Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not essential; leadership qualities are highly valued
Personal qualities include professionalism, adaptability, and a genuine passion for hospitality
