Job description

We are looking for 2 full time butchers to join us at Oink Butchery.

We are a butchery specialising in bespoke private cutting services for other farmers and producers, as well as having a steady online retail offering. We are looking for 2 full time butchers to join our friendly team on a permanent basis as the business is rapidly growing.

The contract butchery requires excellent attention to detail, comprehensive carcass butchery knowledge and skill. Our customers are other farmers and producer selling the home produced meat direct to customer, and we are reknowned for providing an outstanding bespoke service.

Who we are looking for

Must be competent and confident in full carcass butchery of lambs, pigs, beef and venison alongside the usual dicing, tieing, steaking, mincing, sausage and burger making etc.
Must be able to commute - we aren‘t easily accessible by public transport
The role will include all day-to-day operation including booking goods in, cleaning, and due diligence checks alongside the actual butchery, packing and labelling - we’re looking for someone reliable and hard-working
